Finance, building things and sports have always been incredible passions for me. Working my way through college, I started as a teller at Commerce Bank (now TD Bank). Eventually becoming a Customer Service Representative working on the branch floor, opening accounts and handling customer service.

I remember opening CD’s for IRA’s at 2% for customers, thinking they should be investing that money for long term growth. It helped me realize the need for Financial Advisors, to provide guidance toward appropriate financial recommendations. It was then that I decided to get licensed and start my career as a Financial Advisor.

December 19, 2007 was my first day as licensed Financial Advisor. 2008 was a challenging year to get into the business, but taught me many valuable lessons that I utilize with clients today.

In 2012, I moved to LPL Financial and The Pinnacle Financial Group to become “independent.” I did not want be tied to a particular product or recommendation.

2025, while maintaining my affiliation with LPL Financial and The Pinnacle Financial Group. I decided to launch Techne Planning.

Techne Planning is my vision for the future of how I want to help clients moving forwards. Incorporating more services, providing enhanced value and building a curated professional team over time.
